The 12 Messes of Christmas

The 12 Messes of Christmas

12 Messes of Christmas

Most of us believe that the 12 Days of Christmas refers to the days before Christmas. However, the twelve days begin on December 25th and end on the evening of January 5th the following year.

In this song, your presents have already been opened and guests have left. Your thoughts turn to packing up the ornaments and getting rid of the holiday messes.

We created a song that will get you in the mood for cleaning (sung to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas):

The 12 Messes of Christmas Song

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my family gave to me…

Twelve sofa smudges,

Eleven carpet messes,

Ten stains a-rubbing,

Nine candies sticking,

Eight friends a-spilling,

Seven floors with glitter,

Six kids a-playing,

Five peeing dogs,

Four dirty rugs,

Three wine stains,

Two candle spills, and

Sap from a fresh Christmas Tree!

A Clean Floor Is Top Of The Wish List For The New Year!

You know that after the holidays you always have those after-holiday messes. It is time to give your flooring a quick touch-up and to bring in the New Year with clean flooring including your carpet, upholstery, and tile. Here are a few tips on being prepared for seasonal cleaning challenges that may come your way.

Vacuum

The first thing you need to do is vacuum all your floors. Next, take a walk back through your home, looking for unnoticed stains.

There is usually a lot of tracked in dirt and dust from the holiday season. Our household vacuum cleaners are pretty good now a days, however your professional carpet cleaners have those power tools to really get the dirt out. These steps will increase the life of your carpet.

Act Quickly on Stains

Carpet Cleaning Professionals know that the longer a spot sits, the harder that spot is to get out. When a spill remains on a carpet for a long time, it turns into a stain. A spot is easy to clean up, but a stain discolors your carpet fibers and is extremely difficult to remove completely.

Quick Mop

Give those tile floors a quick mop to get rid of any leftover holiday messes. Our suggestion is to use straight water when you mop, some commercial cleaners leave a residue if you don’t fresh water mop over it. That’s part of the ugly build up that happens over time to the best of us.

Of course, most of us are busy and don’t really have time to give our flooring the scrubbing it has earned. We are here for you, schedule and feel Like New again.
